We partner with the Salvation Army H.Q.-Nashville, TN
We partner with Ron Harmon of the Salvation Army in Nashville, TN to help feed the homeless who live underneath the Jefferson Street Bridge.
We are responsible for providing food and volunteers on the third Friday of each month. We have a Church service following the evening meal. Talk about a "Church without walls!" Come be a part of this ministry!
Feeding Nashville's Homeless
Times and Locations
Option 1: 4:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army H.Q. at 631 Dickerson Pike- Food Prep on the Soup Wagon
Option 2: 6 p.m. at the Jefferson Street Bridge (there is a parking lot next to the bridge)
We leave the Salvation Army HQ at 5:50 if you would like to follow us.
Serving Time: 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

5:45-6:00 Wagon travels to Jefferson Street Bridge (underneath)
6:00-6:30 Blessing spoken over the meal/Warm Meals Handed Out
Hospitality Team meets/greets/assists the homeless with their needs (coffee

Volunteers Needed: 6 in the wagon and 6-10 outside
6:30-6:50 Sermon
6:50-7:30 Pass out warm coats and goody bags

- Take 65 North to exit 82B
- Get in the left hand lane and take exit 211B (I-24W)
- Take exit 47 - Jefferson Street
- Take a right and come to the first traffic light which is North First Street
- Salvation Army HQ is on the right next to the BP
